Terms of Service

Effective July 16, 2026.

These are the terms for using DispatchAnswer. They are written to be read, not skimmed past — the whole deal fits on this page. Using the service means you agree to them. Questions before you agree: louis@dispatchanswer.com.

1. Who we are

DispatchAnswer is a founder-run business based in Commack, NY 11725, operated by Louis Fasano. Reach us at louis@dispatchanswer.com or (631) 263-1267.

2. What the service is

DispatchAnswer is an AI front desk for appointment-based service businesses. When your phone line forwards to us — after-hours only, overflow only, or 24/7, your choice — an AI agent answers the call, asks qualifying questions from the playbook we build with you, and proposes bookings. Every proposed booking is sent to you as a Confirm Text; nothing lands on your calendar, and nothing bills, until you confirm it. Calls are recorded and transcribed for you (see our Privacy Policy for how recordings are handled).

3. The price

Free 2-week pilot, then $30 per booking you confirm. No monthly fee. No setup fee. No per-minute charges. No contract — cancel anytime. That is the entire pricing model, and these terms do not contain a different one in smaller print.

4. What counts as a billable booking

You are billed $30 for an owner-confirmed booking and for nothing else. An owner-confirmed booking is a booking that meets both conditions: (a) the DispatchAnswer agent created it, and (b) you — the owner — confirmed it, either by replying to its Confirm Text or by confirming it directly with us.

Never billed: bookings you did not confirm, bookings you ignored, spam calls, wrong numbers, price-shoppers, cancellations, and no-shows. If a confirmed booking later cancels or no-shows, tell us by replying to its Confirm Text thread or by texting us, and it comes off the invoice.

5. The free pilot

The pilot is free for two weeks. The clock starts when you approve the agent and your call forwarding actually goes live — verified together with a live test call — not when you submit a form or book the setup call. You get the exact dates in writing.

No card is required for the pilot, and it never auto-converts to a paid plan: going paid is a decision you make with us, not a date that sneaks up. Either side can stop the pilot at any time, for any reason, owing nothing.

6. Billing after the pilot

Paid service is billed monthly in arrears: at the end of each month you get an itemized invoice where every line is one confirmed booking, at $30 each. You can dispute any line by replying to that booking’s Confirm Text thread or texting us. During your first paid month, disputes resolve in your favor.

The founder’s guarantee: if you tell us DispatchAnswer did not pay for itself in your first paid month, we refund every booking fee from that month — on request, no form, no argument.

7. Cancellation

Cancel by email or text, effective immediately. We turn off call forwarding on our side the same day, and you can also un-forward your line from your own phone in about two minutes at any time — we never port or control your number. After cancellation you owe only the $30 fees for bookings you had already confirmed.

8. Service area

We currently serve Long Island, NY — Suffolk and Nassau Counties — where we do setup in person. If you are outside that area, get in touch anyway; the phone side of the service is not geographically limited, but in-person setup is.

9. Your part

Using the service, you agree to a few reasonable things:

  • Use it for a lawful business, and give us accurate information about your services, prices, service area, and hours — the agent says what you tell us to load, so what you load has to be true.
  • Only forward phone lines you own or control, and tell us if your line handles calls that should never be recorded.
  • Do not attempt to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.
  • Handle the customer information we pass you (names, numbers, addresses, recordings) responsibly and legally.

We can suspend service for abuse or illegal use — and given Section 7, you can leave just as fast.

10. The agent is an AI

The agent that answers your calls is an AI, and it says so when asked — it never claims to be human. Calls open with a recording disclosure. It follows the playbook you approve: it quotes only prices you have set, offers only windows you have allowed, and hands off to a human by the escalation rules you choose at setup.

11. Not an emergency service

DispatchAnswer is not an emergency service and is no substitute for 911. The agent’s behavior is to tell callers with life-safety emergencies — a gas smell, a carbon-monoxide alarm, a medical emergency — to hang up and call 911, and to escalate urgent service calls to you by the rules you set. Do not rely on the service as an emergency dispatch or life-safety system.

12. No promises about your revenue

We answer calls and book jobs; we do not and cannot guarantee any particular number of calls, bookings, or dollars for your business. Anything on this site about what missed calls cost is industry math, not a promise about your results. The pilot exists so you can measure the real thing on your own line before paying anything.

13. Who owns what

We own the DispatchAnswer software, the agent, and everything that makes them run. You own your business information, your customer relationships, your phone number (we never port or control it), and the recordings and transcripts of your calls — leave, and none of it is held hostage, because we never owned any of it. Nothing here transfers ownership in either direction; each side licenses the other only what is needed to run the service.

14. Limits on liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the service is capped at the fees you actually paid us in the three months before the claim arose — and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits from a missed or mishandled call. During a free pilot, that cap is $0; the pilot is how you judge the service before money moves. This cap does not apply to anything the law does not allow us to cap.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we post the new version here and update the effective date. For a change that affects pricing or billing, we will tell you directly before it applies to you — the locked offer above does not change out from under an active customer quietly.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in New York. If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

17. Contact

Questions, disputes, cancellations, or anything else: louis@dispatchanswer.com or (631) 263-1267 — you reach the founder directly.
