How DispatchAnswer actually works on your line.

Four beats: it picks up the instant your call forwards, qualifies from your playbook, waits for your one-tap Confirm Text — and emergencies jump the line, escalated straight to your on-call phone by the rules you set. Your number stays yours: forwarding reverses from your own phone in two minutes.

How it works

Ring. Booked. Confirmed by you — $30 only after that last step.

  1. 01

It picks up the instant your call forwards

Forward when you're busy, after-hours only, overflow only, or 24/7 — your call, changeable anytime. No new phone system, no new software, and your number stays yours: we never port it or touch it; forwarding reverses from your own phone in two minutes. It knows your services, your service area, your prices, and what counts as an emergency — because we set them up with you at your setup call.

  2. 02

It qualifies like a good dispatcher, from your playbook

It can only quote prices you've approved and only offer windows you've allowed — and “never quote prices” is a setting, not a request. Tire-kickers and spam get politely declined and never touch your calendar or your bill. If a caller asks for a human or the call goes somewhere it can't handle, it never bluffs: it takes the details, tells them you'll call back, and texts you immediately, flagged urgent.

  3. 03

    The Confirm Text

Every proposed booking hits your phone: “Sat 9–11am, no-cool, 3-ton unit, Massapequa — confirm?” Tap yes: it's on the calendar and the customer gets a confirmation text. Ignore it: nothing happens and nothing is billed. On the call, the customer hears the truth — “I've got you down for Saturday 9–11, pending the owner's confirmation; you'll get a text locking it in shortly.” They are never told they're booked before you say so.

  4. 04

    Emergencies jump the line

A midnight no-heat gets triaged as an emergency and escalated to your on-call phone immediately — flagged urgent, never buried in the morning's summaries. You set the escalation rules at setup: what counts as an emergency, who gets alerted, and whether the caller gets transferred straight through. The caller is told exactly what's happening and when they'll hear back.

Straight answer on integrations

Today, DispatchAnswer answers on your forwarded line, books into the calendar you point it at, and texts you everything. It does not type jobs into Housecall Pro, Jobber, or Workiz for you — you (or we, during your pilot) move confirmed jobs into your FSM. We'd rather tell you that here than have you find out in week one. It's still the difference between a booked job and a voicemail.

You go live on the setup call: we load your services, prices, service area, and emergency rules together, you test-call it yourself, and your line forwards before we hang up. If your carrier needs extra steps, allow a day or two. Nothing to install.

Books the 30-minute setup call — live before we hang up, pilot starts at forwarding. No card.
